The announcement was made by the band's mentor, Trent Reznor, which says: "The Nine Inch Nails will go on tour this year. I was working on some ideas with Adrian Belew, then we discussed the possibility of performing live, we scratched our beards and, much later, we rethought what Nine Inch Nails could be. We called some friends, discussed lots of new ideas and booked a concert - which led to another, and many more."
As of now, Nine Inch Nails are Trent Reznor, Eric Avery ( Jane's Addiction ), Adrian Belew (King Crimson) and Josh Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv), in addition to regular collaborators Alessandro Cortini and Ilan Rubin.
"The first concerts take place in the middle of the year, followed by a stadium tour across the United States, and many other dates around the world, in 2014", promises Trent Reznor.
