There are still no signs that Sugar is working on a new album. However, the band led by Bob Mold — which released the spectacular album Copper Blue (1992) in the 1990s — has already released three singles since resuming activities for a tour in 2026.
Following “House of Dead Memories” and “Long Live Love,” the trio unveiled the previously unreleased “Keep Looping.”
Sugar announced their return with the original lineup in October 2025, when they released “House of Dead Memories”. In January 2026, the band continued the new phase with the track “Long Live Love”.
