Little Dragon is a Swedish electronic music band formed in 1996 in Gothenburg. Their work flirts with elements of various styles, such as trip hop, downtempo, synth-pop, dream pop, and R&B, resulting in pop songs that oscillate between melancholy and experimentalism.
Despite originating in the 1990s, the band, composed of Yukimi Nagano (vocals, percussion), Håkan Wirenstrand (keyboards), Fredrik Wallin (bass), and Erik Bodin (drums), only released their first album in 2007, a self-titled work. Following this, Little Dragon released Machine Dreams (2009), Ritual Union (2011), and Nabuma Rubberband (2014). The latter was nominated in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category at the 2015 Grammy Awards. However, the award went to Aphex Twin's Syro.
Going back a few years earlier, the band collaborated with Gorillaz on the album Plastic Beach, contributing to the tracks "Empire Ants" and "To Binge".
After Nabuma Rubberband, the group released Season High (2016), New Me, Same Us (2020), and Slugs of Love (2023). In March 2025, Nagano, under the name Yukimi, released her first solo album, titled For You.
